The proposal studio

Proposals are fee proposals written as a letter on your letterhead, in English or Arabic. Choose New Proposal and say who it is for: a client, an associate or a new prospect. From there the studio saves as you work, with the form on the left and a live preview of the letter on the right.

Services and fees

Add services by country. Each line has the official fee and your professional fee, shown separately on the letter, and lines can be marked as core or conditional. Set all margins to applies one margin to every line at once; the margin and your cost are never shown to the client.

Set the currency, VAT (applied to professional fees only), the validity period and who signs the letter. Standard texts such as the introduction, terms and notes can be reused, and any proposal can be saved as a template.

How the letter looks

Under Style choose the letterhead, colours, headings and layout, and whether to show the logo. The design applies to every proposal, and Reset to default brings back the standard look.

Sending to the client

Send to client emails the proposal with a link to view it online. You can attach the PDF, send yourself a copy, send a test to your own address first, and switch on Let the client accept online. A follow-up option sends one polite reminder if the client has not answered, then stops.

Through the link the client can accept (with their name and position), decline with a reason, or ask a question. Each of these notifies your team and is kept in the proposal’s activity.

Statuses and offers

A proposal is Draft until it is sent, then Sent, and finally Accepted, Declined or Abandoned. Use Duplicate to start a new proposal from an old one.

Offers are a simpler kind of quote: a title, client, amount, currency and validity date, with a printable PDF.
